rhd crx ecu ? need help
I have searched everywhere and keep coming up with the same info. What i need is some info on the best fuel management (fe:uberdata) for a b16 with a full-race st 2 turbo kit. I'm in the process of doing the rhd conversion and found out you can't use the pw0/pr3 for boost. so i'm stuck tring to find some sort of fuel management other than a hack. i also am using the jdm wiring so i keep the cliamete control, and use my jdm doors that came with the clip. so if anyone could help me with this i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.
the car is all ready wired for vtec and all the software like turbo edit uses the ac control to activate vtec. and uberdata requires obd-0 to obd-1 harness, but has the wireing coming of to the side like for a non-vtec car. so anyone with some answers?
LOL I don't even know what you're talking about. AC Control to activate VTEC? what?
You would provide 12v+ the wire that goes to the VTEC solenoid. Nothing else is going to activate VTEC.
With an OBD0 to OBD1 ECU Conversion Harness you'll have a pigtail of sensors that need to be connected, this will have VTEC, VTEC Oil Pressure, 4-Wire O2 sensor, Knock Sensor and IAB(gsr) wiring. You'll run these seperately anyhow.
See the Rywire Conversion packages. http://www.rywire.com
We can tap your ECU Jumper with your VAFC pigtail if you would like us to.

Using AC to activate VTEC sounds like a task, as you would need to reach over and hit the AC button each time you want vtec. I myself would prefer automatic activation through the ECU.
The AC button is versatile for tons of things though, since all it does is send an on/off signal to the ECU. My friends and I talked of using it for launch control, or even better, putting the compressor back on and actually making the AC work

sorry if I confused you guys as this is my first time asking a question.I no longer have the DX wiring from the seats forward it is now the jdm sir wiring in its place so i was able to keep the power windows, and the climate controle easily. The car is wired just like a jdm sir crx NOT a dx/si/hf crx. The vtec wiring is already there. And for the ac control read xenocrons page for VTEC with turboedit and you get where i got the one-wire vtec from. Now back to my first question with what i just said can someone help me find a good fuel managment? sorry again

Go to http://www.pgmfi.org and research BRE. PR3 with boost is supported.

Well I have great news for you! First, the stock code has been rewritten to use the AC clutch output to *automatically* control the VTEC solenoid, just like a VTEC ecu would. TurboEdit allows you to do this, or use the torque convertor lockup line on the PS9 ecu. It, and most other rom editors, also allow you to add launch control, without pressing buttons. The ecu looks at the vehicle speed. If it is less than a user set value, for instance 8mph, it sets the rev limiter at the launch rpm you set, such as 5500rpm. As soon as the car gets above the set speed, the regular redline is used.
