My Blitz Black Project (Warning: Non-Honda...sorry 56k)
I don't post that much, but I'm lurking on H-T daily and I love seeing peoples' projects coming along. So I figured I'd post up my completed project and some progress pictures. I bought this car for $400 as my beater from some old people who managed to dent, ding, and scratch every panel. The car needed brakes and some engine and tranny work as well.
In the end, the total cost including the car, replacement parts, rims, bodywork stuff, eBay HVLP paint gun(
), etc. was under $1,000. Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The first day I got the car.

Same thing...first day I got the car.

Bodywork.

Stuff pulled off/sneak peak of the 20 valve yelli Celi.

Damn that thing is UGLY!

More ugliness.

Looks a little better in cheapo rattle-can primer, but still ugly.

First rattle-can paint job...very patchy and streaky and ugly.

Still ugly.

More bodywork had to be done. I picked up some sideskirts from a Celica GT-S and molded them on. Lots more bodywork was done...thankfully for your eyes there are no more pics of the ugly amateur bodywork.
And here is the finished product:

I know I messed up and didn't do the bodywork very well in some spots(Especially the front lip), and I know the car looks like it's set to go 4x4ing, but I'm giving the car to my little bro in less than a month when he turns sixteen. I sold the oversized wheels today, so it's back to rolling on 13s again. If he wants, he can lower it and maybe find some nice 15" wheels for it.
Anyway, comments are welcome...good or bad I don't care.
