Default F22 to H22?

I know this might be a real dumb question but is it really worth it to swap out my f22 for an h22? i also heard the swap is expensive, but on the other hand i heard that its a pretty basic swap and can use like the same motor mounts and axels, i dont know if this is exactly true but please help me out

I'm saving up the cash to do just that myself. What's not to love about swapping a F22 for a H22?? You get DOHC, VTEC, and lots more horse (depending on the year of H22 that you get). If you swap in a H22 from a 2000, or 2001 lude you get a 200 horse engine, plus OBD2!! As far as I can tell from the research that I've done, the existing motor mounts and everything else in your engine bay will work with the new engine. You should be able to just drop it in. Even the Trannys are all the same, so you won't need new axles. Headers should also just bolt right up to the new setup.

My 130 horse F22A1 has 182,000 miles on it, so I'm eager to throw it out in favor of a 200 horse H22 with less than 50,000 miles on it! (get them cheap on ebay for about $2500).

Theres nothing great about an OBDII system, you have less tuning capabilities, and more emissions regulations. OBDI > OBDII

Yeah, I like how they bumped up the HP for the Base by 5hp and 10 for the Type SH. lol

They all make 190hp.

axles will work, mounts will work, u'll need the h22 header, also you'll want to change all the belts before u swap it, and the clutch
