OT, but help a brotha out. 16x6 wheels???
So Ford, in all their great automotive wisdom, decided that a 16x6" wheel would be best suited for the Focus.
Since I run the car in H Stock, I'm stuck trying to find a 16x6" wheel. The stockers are h e a v y, and I'd like to find something lighter.
So far the only other wheel I've found is the Mazda Millenia wheel, but it's not the right bolt pattern.
Does anybody know of a 16x6" wheel that comes in a 4-108 bolt pattern (yeah, another brilliant move by Ford).
I'm just trying one last ditch effort before I have some custom wheels made.....
EDIT: stock offset is 52.5mm, so ideally I'd want something in the 48mm range.

No idea on wheels other than thinking that some Preludes and Accords used that bolt pattern. I'm thinking that Audi may have also used it.
As far as the underlining, I found that if I "hovered" the cursor over them it put up an info box. In the box it had something like find out what this is and there was a link at the bottom of the info page to turn it off, so I did. I thought it was some new virus or spyware. I assume they are some sort of site sponsor.

If it was posted somewhere other than RR/AX, then yes, I missed it.
I rarely venture into the rest of H-T, it's scary out there!

ya that is true, give you a great laugh though.
Have you thought about going after a custom wheel? It wouldn't be cheap but you could get some real light weight wheels.

Well, my last resort is to call Kodiak, but my wallet trembles at that thought.
I sent tirerack an email, we'll see what they say.

My guess is the bill will be upwards of $1200, but I don't know yet as the price changes depending on what you need, and I haven't actually called them yet.
Rodney, how much did you pay for your wheels? Oh wait, he's in Topeak....
I know a friend paid $1800 for his 17x10 CCWs for his STi.

EDIT: It appears that Volk doesn't make anything narrower than a 7" wheel in 16" diameter. *sigh*</TD></TR></TABLE>
AFAIK you can get them to make anything for little more then what they cost in the first place.
This is second hand info though. You could contact vtecvoodoo as he once has a set of custom volks. Also SSR IIRC seemed to have a wide range of wheels.
Doesn't this make you want to karate chop some one at ford in the throat?

Again, they only go down to a 16x6.5, which is actually the size those pesky Mini's run. Plus, I thought SSR went bankrupt, or did American Racing finally buy them?

I found this link which gives you bolt pattern and offset of just about any vehicle if you want to look:

IIRC certain Volvo and Mercury vehicles use that bolt pattern. 16x6 might be tough though. Some wheel shops can alter wheels. That could be an option if you find a cheap used light weight set of wheels that is a half inch too wide.
