Default spoon eg6 gauge

Incase anyone needs a reference on what it looks like...the gauge face itself lights up amber not the blubs, spoon uses an oem jdm guage face then adds the spoon insignia. and yes there are two versions. SpoonSports insignia on top(later version with later spoon insignia design) and SpoonSports insignia on the bottom (early version, early spoon insignia design shown below)<<<havent had a chance to locate one as of yet. if it indeed was made for the public. i have only seen them in publications. spoon never made a full cluster (like the dc2, ek) for the eg, ef, da, accords, preludes, spoon only made a speedo gauge.

heres the older spoon version with old spoon insignia, taken from old prepromotion flyer i have. i have yet to see one as of yet. so not sure if any were made like this or if it was just for promotional purposes. and as you can see it was a sticker. so yes the debate is over, spoon did use spoon sport stickers!!!!!

scanned in greyscale so you can see the sticker outline. 1st gen. early version spoon insignia gauge.(hyperrev vol.3 page 129, same photo)

current 2nd gen version spoon insignia.

and how it looks in the cluster.

this is not a discussion on whos more jdm or not but to help those who are searching the boards for authenticity of the spoon sports eg speedo gauge. So lets not make this thread a debate, we all know everyones tastes let alone everyone doesnt have deep pockets and will spend their money elsewhere and on more useful ways.

lol thats because i havent aquired the early version as of yet... its just for information purposes, but years ago there was speculation on fakes, hence because there were two versions out...

i was able to get two in the past 2 weeks.. i sold the other one for $850 shipped... the k's or the feel's version (both with no company insignia) sell around 350-$500

people in the states are cheap... most of my high end sells are outside the US due to higher offers...

american's were lazy and cheap!

Wait...someone paid 850 for just the gauge or the whole cluster thing?

Either way, I think it's a waste of money, but it's just me....

yea also from what i understand is if a spoon distributor has enough deposits they can make you spoon eg6 speedo gauges...

i know its been done like 4 years ago. not sure if spoon would do it now. but get in touch with ajr or another well known spoon distributor and with enough buyers spoon may do it????

but i have heard to get one made would be around $500-$700 so that too may not be for the general mass...
