Default DIY head build.... difficult?

Im thinking about replacing cams, valves springs and retainers on a spare b16a head i have in my shed before getting a mechanic to chuck it on my b18c along with some ctr pistons.

Ill be using omni power springs/retainers, and skunk2 stage2 cams and cam gears at this stage.

Can i do the head work myself? i have no experince at all with this so would need some good 'how to' resources.

Ive searched and havnt found any 'how to's' on here, if anyones got some good links that would help itd be great.

Thanks

very simple. all you need is a valve spring compressor. make sure you don't lose the keepers when taking everything off. all you do is compress the valve spring, take off the keepers, then the spring will come right off. put back in reverse order.

search for BIG TEGGIE, he did a full write up on building a nice N/A LSVTEC and he had a in depth write up on how he put the head together.

Try buying a repair manual. It will show you most of it along with torque specs for the bolts and the procedure. Yeah its pretty basic hand tools, valve spring tool, torque wrench, and probably a feeler gauge.
