i have a 2000 lude and one day i went to unlock the passenger door and nothing happened. the door wont open from the inside no matter what you do. the only way i can open the door is if i put the key in and forcefully turn it then pull the door handle at the same time. when you close the door after it is then locked again.

anyone ever heard of or had this problem? thanks

I had that problem in a different car after police slim-jimmed it for me b/c I left my keys in the car.

Maybe somebody tried to "let themselves in" and screwed up the linkage?
