hi.

come by my trailer at summit point next weekend (if you are planning to attend); i have a set of 2002 sabelt camlock 5 pts with hardly any wear on them i might be persuaded to part with; i had to change them due to the 2 year rule at NASA for wheel-to-wheel racing; otherwise, they are in perfect shape.

Aren't 4 & 5 pt harnesses only for cars w/ cages?

Your factory 3pt seat belt is designed to allow your body to lean to the side in the event of a rollover that partially collapses the roof. With a 4/5pt harness you are held upright, and your melon and spine get squished. Right?

 

cage is on its way! my 3 point mouse track system does not feel safe, after 16 years the bealts are worn and a lil frayed... this is jus my track car... it will be another year til it is prepped for competition (if i dont crash it first) (knock on wood)

I have a Willans 4-point "buckle" type (looks and works like a stock buckle, with a button) you can have for $50. It's outdated, but it's actually never been used.

 

Im also looking for a 5 point harness, camlock, not 4 point. prefer red or black, but they all get the job done.
