i got all my windows (spare my front, derr) tinted at 30%, computer cut, for only about 60 dollars. but i had the labor done by a friend for free. if you have the patience and know how, its def worth doing yourself IMO
oh and the company i bought the tint from comes with a lifetime warranty that it wont bubble, peel, fade, etc. so i think i got a sweet deal

Tinting prices tend to vary by area and also by the type of film being used, but $150-$200 is a fair, rough estimate (some shops may be higher, some lower). I've had many vehicles tinted, and one thing I would advise against is choosing an installer based purely on price. Instead, do some research and try to locate a competent, well-experienced installer who also has fair pricing. The chances are good that you will be much happier with the results, even if the job costs a bit more. Others have also mentioned computer-cut film, and while this is a nice option from an installer's standpoint (allowing him to perform more installations in less time), I personally prefer that my installations are done with hand-cut film. Hand-cutting allows the installer to achieve tighter tolerances and to compensate for any variations on your particular vehicle, versus this "one-size-fits-all" film produced by a computer cutter.
Well, turns out this place is shady as hell.
I drive down there, north garland, if any of you are in the DFW area and know what im talking about.
Its this little warehouse, and nobody is there, so i call the number, and the lady says there out doing a guys truck, but i can drop my keys in the key drop, or if theres a wild looking biker guy, don't hesitate to give him my keys
So im like.... ok.... so i drop my keys in the drop box, but im very hesitant of it, so i stick around in the area with my friend, and drive by frequently to check up on my car. Two hours go by and theres nobody there... so i reach my arm in the drop box and get my keys out (thats safe..
) And call them and tell them i was able to retrieve my keys and im leaving... they talked me into coming back on thursday, but im coming during there regular business hours.
And talking them down on the price...
