hey all, im a newer member, spectated for about a year now, just recently signed up. thought id throw up a couple pics for all you to see and flame. Nothing special about the car, just a dx 5 spd on factory 13's. I have a set of 17" black giovannis for it but they are 4 states and 9.5 hrs away. Actually just picked the car up about a week ago. bought it off a real good friend of mine for $2K US. 85 k on the odometer, all stock y7, with a couple bolt ons that i installed for him. i got a couple ideas im working on, but i wont bore yall any more. On to the pics.

gotta start somewhere right?? loving the car so far. ive had my eye on this particular one for around 2.5 years. i let my buddy buy it in front of me, did all his maintenance and shiat, and then just recently dropped it, lower control arms, and am sourcing up some si sway bars. we'll see how that goes.

 

If I were you, I'd leave the 17" Giovannis 4 states away and look for some nice 15's or maybe 16's. Actually if I were you, I'd rock that car with 14" HX wheels, throw in an SiR lip and a DIY CTR grille and call it a day (well, start saving for the swap at least ).

BUT...

You do what you want and be proud of it. You've got a nice platform to start with and it sounds like it's been maintained and modded right so far.

that was my first mod, had the car stock and just dumped it, looks good man, amazing what the ride height can do to a stock exterior looking car.

 

deffinitely not going with the 17's on it, its too much on that little car. Im more focused on the performance of it than the appearance of it so, all the cool **** can wait. There is some very slight rust starting to form that I may start to get rid of, other than that its in pretty decent cosmetic shape. I got some paint schemes going too, but Im a little low on the cash flow after just getting married, and moving away.
