how do you bypass a knock sensor
How do i bypass my knock sensor?
My car was throwing a 23 so i replaced the knock sensor and that didnt work so i replaced the wires and clips and that didn't work. Whats up? tapped into d3 (blue/red) and it just doesnt work. i have a complete jdm h22 swap.

make sure the threads in the back of the block are clean too, that is a self-grounding sensor. Other than that, the only way I know of to ditch knock would be to run a chipped p28 that doesn't look for it.

My Answer: I "BELIEVE" you can do it with the hondata systems.....if you want to take the easy way out.
To clear things up: I am not SURE - I think you can do it with the hondata system, but do NOT take my word for it. Do not engrave them in stone - just keep them in the back of your head.
