1993 Accord Coupe h22 Nashville TN
Well as sad as it makes me, I think I need to get rid of the honda. For several reasons. The first being that I don't ever drive the car, and the second being it needs more love than I can give it. I will give the good the bad and the ugly.
The Bad:
-The car has an odd idle problem that I cannot solve. It idles very low when warming up, and the idles fine after warm up. Who knows?
-The car does use some oil, and I suspect it has some shot rings. I've lost about a quart in the past month.
-The tranny has a grind in 5th gear (I do have an h23 tranny that I will give the the buyer)
-Dented oil pan
The Good:
-The paint is almost flawless. The car was resprayed less than a year ago. The only flaw is the passenger side molding is a bit scraped up. No biggie, really easy to fix. There are several people who have seen this car in person and can vouche for it's cleanliness.
-JDM h22 w/ about 65k. 281k on chassis.
-Intake, DC sports header, and Apexi WS catback
-p72 ECU w/ BustedLx's basemap (car runs awesome)
-Apexi VAFC
-Jun lightened flywheel
-Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch
-New OEM fuel pump
-New Main relay
-03 TL HID's (4300k) < Looks amazing
-JDM one piece headlights blackhoused
-96 ITR wheels powdercoated Championship white
-Sprint Extremes w/ KYB AGX shocks
-20% window tint
-VIS OEM CF hood that needs to be re-cleared due to age.
-With the expection of holes for guages in the dash and a broken door handle the interior is flawless.
Like I said this car runs really strong, despite the issues. I'm pretty sure it just needs a ring job, but I don't have the resources or the time to fix it. This car needs to go to a home where someone can take car of it better than I can. I think I'm going to jump out of the tuning game for a while and just drive the volvo. I'm not really at a point in my life where I can devote time and energy to a project like this. I'm asking $4200 for the car, and I will be willing to meet someone to deliver it. See my members ride thread for pics. Keep in mind the JDM headlights are not pictured.
