i recently rotated my rear tires to the front and now when im going about 40 mph in third gear my front makes a weird hollow-sounding noise. has anyone ever had this problem or know what it is? thanks

 

i know if your shocks go bad it will make your tires howl after it screws the tread up

 

What tires? Maybe the rears weren't as worn out as the fronts so its "howling" now...

yeah they werent as worn as the front they're in better condition. any way i can fix it? and is it alright to drive it like that

get your tires wet and dump the clutch a few times... that oughta wear em down a little bit.

but seriously, youll be ok... if its loud, just turn the radio up for a few days.

 

Have the alignment checked.

 

Check for cupping or feathering

 

maybe its the balance of your tires same thing happened to me got them rebalanced and their fine now!!
