SRS light remained on.

SRS light remained on.
I own a 00'' si and noticed yesterday that the SRS light will stay on and not clear seconds after the car is started. Anyone experienced this issue before? Any help is appreciated.

unhook the pos. battery cable for like 30sec. and hook it back up. if that doesn't clear it out, then take it to autozone so they can hook up a computer to your ecu to see if anything is significantly wrong.

you can reset it yourself theres instructions around. search srs reset. did you recently swap steering wheels or disconnect your airbag/s for any reason?

Check your SRS cable under your dash. It is a bright yellow cable that is easily notiable.. Make sure it's connected properly. If it is, try pulling the SRS fuse to reset it.

except for that I didn't change steering wheels or air bag. But thanks anyway.
I must of disconnected that yellow wire by accident. I'll check first thing tomrrow morning.
