crank pulley
i have a UR pulley on my lsvtec... and im just wondering if the mark is 0 btc or 16btc??? i only have one mark.. and **** i sold my stock pulley and i dont know no one with a stock.. so yeah i hope someone can reply.. thanks...
but see my pulley aint got the marks... it just has one? and my gun dont even have the dials.. soo my question is what is the UR pulley mark is it 0 or 16...
you know, your ignition timing shouldn't have changed just from putting this pulley on. go and check with your timing gun and see if it lines up, or at least if it's close. if it's within half-inch or so, your timing might still be off but at least then you know that that notch is +16deg BTDC. if it's way off, the notch is probably 0deg BTDC (in other words, it IS top dead center) and you're going to need a better timing gun.
NOTE: to anyone looking to purchase a timing gun, don't waste your time with a simple one. get an advance analyzer with inductive pick-up. it's more money but hey, you'll never need another one and it can do everything you'll ever need it to do.
