What you need to do is connect a wire between this small blue/yellow wire (upper right wire on the top plug),

to this small blue/yellow wire (part of your origional dash harness, its the defrost switch.)

you wont be able to repin it because the pins are the same (both female) unless you have extra male pins sitting arround then you could do it. but yeah you have the right idea. just connect those 2 wires in whatever way you want and youre good to go.

or you can search "without floor harness" and youll find a thread where i help people with all the wiring to do it without a floor harness.

ok.. another thing.. i did the power door conversion as well as the 00 climate control... things seem to work but my tranny wont shift.. (its an automaci)... now it threw a couple of codes saying that the transmission control unit is not working properly.. could it be that the floor harness was off an 5speed.. if so is there a way to run another wire or do i have to repin part of the floor harness..... all help is welcome.. thanks..

i know you've been helping me alot with the info you provide me about the conversions i've been making.. is there any way you could tell me where the white plug that comes out of the ex floor harness goes into ..? on the ex theres 5 plugs and the dx theres only 3.. i thought it may go to the power mirror switch thats located above the coin pocket.. you could see this plug hanging on the pics you posted up..

http://repo.jackmoves.com/album228/SANY0849

the white one on the bottom left hand side what does it plug to?

it was his car that hit you? Go to the police explain to them what happened and that you need the owner/address of the guy who hit you.
Get your lawyer, deliver his law suit in person.
