F22a6 or h22?
im wondering if i should just build up my f22a6 and be original, or do what most other people are doing and getting h22 swaps? i already have a cold air intake, cat back, 9 lbs lightweight flywheel, and a stage 2 racing clutch. all of this is pretty much universal w/ the h22 so there would b no lost money... wut r ur opinions?
just for the sake of money, swapping an H will actually cost less HP/$ than building the A6 NA. however, if the A6 is in good shape, boosting it is an excellent option.
u can either boost it, cuz F22's love boost, or u can go the NA route, and srry to burst ur bubble, but i know tons of ppl that are building their f22a for NA. but yea, it has TONS of potential, it all depends on what ur doing. u can also do head swaps if u want, then take it from there.

um...so you know people who are building f22a's from the bottom end up?...i dont mean bolt ons and maybe a shitty *** gude regrind w/ an AEM cam gear set to stock settings...building = high comp pistons, P&P head and ITM, bored throttle body, whole new valve train, new fuel management, etc....i know of like 2 people who are doing that, and all are on f22b1s or 2's, NOT A's....
and why then hell would you want to swap heads?.....thats one of the best flowing single cam heads honda made....

yes, i do know ppl that building these engines from the botom end up. and by swapping heads i meant swaping on the H23 head, along with the H23 IM and TB, the gettin a Full PnP for everything, and getting 5 angle valve jobs. thats what i meant.
o, and the ppl that r u building these engines, they are rebuilding the whole thing, go visit cb7tuner.com if i really care. i dunno if he's on here, but HondaFan81 is one of them, then theres me, and then there is SMseagren83, and others on there.

the only reason swapping the h23 head, is b/c it flows better stock than an f22a does, and then, if u bore it out, it will perform better, and ****, u can put higher compression pistons in there, and then put an h22 crank, and ****, if ur crazy, mill the head. then, on the head, get some 272 regrinds with upgraded valvetrain.
i am currently building a f series engine all the way through, and have it boosted, youll save a lot of money that way rather than the extra 2k or so on just the h22 thrown ontop of the 10k list of building and boosting, id just build it..... imo
nice, what all r u gona do to it? r u gona build it for NA first then for boost, or just buil it for boost?
im thinkin of going boost myself, its not expensive at all, and i know how to do it, but i dunno yet.lol
