as the title says, im ordering this package
http://www.ground-control-stor...I=681
im just wondering what spring rates i should go with.
i want a stiff ride, but it is a daily driver, and i wont be doing any autox or drag in the near future. Please any thoughts?
also, when i actually recieve the setup...will there be anything i need to do?, or is it just bolt-on?
--thanks in advance.

If your not going to put the car on the track, wouldn't the standard rates be best? I believe for an Integra, its 380/250, which would certainly be stiffer than stock.

it's pretty much a bolt off bolt on affair. you'll be using the OEM top hats from the current shock assembly, so you'll need to disassemble those eventually, and you'll also need to cut the dustboots, if the DC came with the same metal ones that my bb6 did.

yes. the shocks and GC's should come with instructions on how to put it all together. the good thing about the GC top hats (along w/ some other stuff) is that you will be able to preassemble the shock/springs before you wrench on the car itself.
don't worry about preloading the springs. just worry about what ride height you want, which will be a little painstaking.

First of all, there is alot of miscommunication going on around here.
So listen up dude. I recieved my order and I installed the front yesterday and I am going to do the rears today.
-Everything is preassemble so all you have to do is take out the old and put in the new.
-There is no instructions.
-Just zip tie the brake brackets to the shock.
-The car sits lower than stock at the highest setting.
-I have 430 in the front and the rears are still stock but here's my 0.02$ The ride is almost like stock with a little bounciness on full soft. So far, I'm happy.

The brackets come off with a screwdriver and a hammer in 2 minutes for both front stock shocks and they SLIDE on the Konis, theres no reason to not smack them off and dont say others are miscommunicating when you offer up shitty information like that
Taken from RJ. Koni shock install (read it next time douche)

Its stiff enough for the streets. You could always get new springs later if you feel like the ots rates is too soft for you.
