1995 gsr buying a HEADER.... these company reliable?
I am buying a JDM ITR header for my 95 gsr. I want to if these are reliable, i need those heat shields cause I am in cali.
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/yh....html (heat shield)
http://www.streetimports.com/p...d=410 (header)
Also do you think those are the cheapest places?

my motor mounts are from streetimports.com. i'm very happy with them. they basically make less expensive knock-offs.
although, i would check out megan racing's 4-1. stainless steel copy of the jdm 4-1, but it will bolt on to a gsr with a cat with 2.5" flange, no worrying about cutting exhausts to fit.

you will have to get a bigger cat with any header with a 2.5" collector, because your stock cat will not bolt up to it.
plus, with any header other than the megan 4-1, you will have to figure out the correct length of the cat you will need. the megan header is designed so that you just get the stock length of the cat. there's no worrying about having to lengthen or shorten or cut anything.

It really depends....do u like sound? do u like it quiet? do u like it when she moans? (I am talking about exhaust man!) Also what's ur price range? I have Greddy Evo2 and I love it. It's quiet in idle and normal driving but when you press gas then it gets loud. It's a deep sound, not too high. If u like that, then Evo2 is good. Alot of people like N1 (apexi) which is good too but really loud. If you're looking for quiet...go for Mugen or Hytech - both are really expensive..will cost you near 1 grand. I am thinking about getting the Hytech muffler since my piping is already 2.5 and it's stainless steel piping....But really man, so many people will tell u so many things because there are so many opinions from so many people. It all comes down to what you really like. Also, Tanabe RM is good I heard but it's lound also...but high pitch loud...which is very annoying

i say u find 2.5" piping if u can for cheap price and add the hytech muffler....perfect sounds on those! quiet but sounds sweet. It sounds as if it was stock..maybe a lil louder. thats what i heard from other owners.....i'll find out once i get it
