hey guys here's the story. my car parked right outside my house i looked out the window (cuz its a GSR) and some dudes door looked like it touching my fender. went downstairs and yup there was a scratch. He said its only about $40 I said ok pay me then. he said no. so we swap info & I made a claim. How much you think im get paid? #1 was inflicted by him for shure cuz I saw it. #2 I didnt see it but I suspect it was him also. car is a 95 gsr

 

did the idiot hit you, move his car, and then hit you again? i dont see how there could be two marks so far apart. it looks like it just needs touch up paint really. no need to go through insurance unless there is a dent [i cant tell from the pic].

 

well like i said #2 im not shure. well if it needs touch up paint then whos gonna pay for it, not me. i told him to give me some cash but he said no so what am i suppose to do just let it go? its my baby dammit

 

What an *******, would'nt give you 40 bucks... At least you saw the guy do it, someone backed into my car yesterday.

 

If that dumbass still refuses to pay you then you need to get the insurance company involved....call your insurance and give his info (I assume you got his insurance info) it's kinda hassle but u wouldn't need to worry about it cause it's going to be his fault under cause of accident.

PS: What's the reason that **** wouldn't pay you..he did it....if I were him I would just pay you $40 cause you never know it might cost more than 40

 

Hate to tell you this, but I wouldn't make an insurance claim for that.
1. They might raise your premium.
2. If you have a bad adjuster, he might use your deductible.
3. That only cost around 50-100 to repair/paint.

he's right....depending on ur deductible, whish is 250 or 500...just get him to pay, if not, well return the favor to him. Put two scratches on his car.

 

get a little cash from the guy that hit your car.

then just use some touchup paint on those scratches. the car does not look like its worth it to repaint the whole area.

He will not have to pay a dedictible. Assuming he got the other guys insurance info, his insurance company will contact the other dudes company, and he will go to the other dudes company's adjuster. He won't have to pay anything, and his premium won't go up because it wasn't his fault.

Oh yea man. You're right. I forgot that he got the other driver's info. In that case, he should get money from insurance, which will come out of the guy's pocket anyway, probably more than $40. If that doesn't work, I say just smash the guy's window at night

yup i filed the claim, the only thing im worried about is if that dude denies it, which he probably will, because the whole time he and his friends was laughing like they think i was gonna let it go

 

file a police report rite on so ull have a proof in case u have to take it to the court.. but thats a small claims if u can negotiate wit em just have em pay u $100-$120 and ur problem wil be solved... or call the company where they worked at the owner of the truck and file a complaint there.. thats ur best bet

don't do that then u;ll be more in **** with da cops for two little spots. people get angry so quickly that they turn something small into something too big. U'd be the one in jail then they'd laugh at u even more and ur insurance will not cover that. U;ll end up paying for it out of your own pocket.

As for the other guy, let them laugh, call da cops asap and show them their car and ur car and file a report then u'll have proof. If not, just pay for it now on ur own, just follow that car one day, when they park their car at a shopping center, scratch the whole **** all around with ur key and they'll never know it's u cause it'll be at a shopping center. That's what I'd do.

True, but these days we all seem to lean towards the instant gratification, dump and bury bodies in the far desert approach.

Anyways, get some touchup paint and make it look decent. Take the guy to small claims or get the money from him. You insurance shouldnt be an option for something so minor.

I wouldn't say that. I know I would be irate if someone did that to me. It does look like someone in jeans or something was leaning on his fender. You cant do that on any car period. You will have dozens of scratches.

Keep pressing the issue though. Hopefully youll win.

haha... but...but... last time i watched goodfellas and they did that they just cooked badass dinners and got drunk in jail.

But yeah, that guys paint looks jacked overall.
