In that one pictured, not a fan of the split horizontal bars (that dont even meet at the right angle) but whatever...

Autopower makes them for the DAs, 4-point bolt ins, 6-point bolt ins and weld in cages as well. http://www.autopowerindustries...t.htm

Go look at the HCC rulebook and legality as far as cages, IMO the only reason for a welded in cage since we're getting on that topic would be for a full race car, and if you want to see 'baller' cages, at least look at ones that follow the damn rulebook.

As I said before the horizontal bars in that "nascar guy who knows what he's doing" cage arent solid, they're split, but the bad part about that is that they didnt even meet at the right angles.

What was the goal of that cage, whats the end intended use?

well koala please get the sand out of your vag first before you get all menstrual on me... the goal of the cage was to strengthen the chassis for auto-x WITHOUT raping my interior and having it be an all out race car... LIKE THE ONE YOU PICTURED. soooo, i went with a weld in 8 point, and yeah, he has the manual for SCCA, NHRA on hand while making this, and it was already inspected and passed...

Having a discussion, (one as important as this, regarding safety) is no need to throw in insults and get ******* childish. WTF is with H-T lately...

I could go on regarding this (and why a cage is for safety first and structural ridgity second) but I'm going to stop, seems every discussion someone has to get immature and flame.
