You must run a muffler at both Irwindale and Fontana (for Street Legal events). I don't know what happened with you guys, but I've always found the staff and racers really friendly at Irwindale. I raced there probably a dozen Thursdays last year. They have noise regulations that they have to adhere to, I wouldn't take it personally. I'd rather run a muffler and have a place to race then get the place shut down and ruin it for everybody just to gain .00001 seconds on my ET.

racers are friendly....some of the staff is....and some of them aren't. It is comedy though, when the announcer cracks on some of funny imports that race there.

the best way to get around it is to run a resonator. tell them thats how you drive it on the street. thats what I use to do. 7.6 1/8 mile all motor baby

same hear ive run at irwindale a shitload of times as long as you have a muffler and your not above the noise levels you should be cool, as far as the officials they respect cars that know what there doing they dont respect noobies that make all the noise and blow the sessions.
