Default Looking for guys with retrofitted HID projectors in a 5th gen...

I plan on doing a retrofit this December. I've already picked up a set of ECE Valeo single xenon projectors, and I've still got to pick up the ballasts/bulbs.

My main question is how exactly to mount the lights in the headlight housing. I found a guy who retrofitted some X5's into his 5th gen - he goes by "Pious", and I'm not sure if here posts here or not, so I hope he doesn't mind that I use some images of his.

He made a sweet mounting bracket for the projector, and then somehow attached that mounting bracket to the chrome reflector housing. This is the part I don't understand. I know it's a longshot, but I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I don't wanna have to do all of my innovation on the "day of," know what I mean?

Here's some pictures. Again, if I'm breaking any rules or if Pious is here and wants them removed, I'll be glad to.

Can anyone tell me how they think this is mounted to the reflector? Is there an existing hole somewhere? This is the main part of conceptualizing the retro that has me confused.

Hopefully some of you 5th gen retrofit clubbers can chime in.

I am a member on HIDPlanet. I thought I'd ask here as well seeing there is a club of folks who have done a retro.

sorry, the purpose of my post was to show what others have done so that you may get some ideas on how to do your projectors.

Also, if you were interested in how they did it, then you could possibly contact them for questions.

I'll check it out. Thanks. Didn't mean to bite your head off... I know projectors would be the best, I've already purchased a pair.

anyone on this site know how to custom make these lights, cause i'd like to get some for my car. im not too good at building stuff like this, especially since i have very little patience for detail and intricate stuff. if anyone knows how to build these, id like to know, will pay to get them done. im in l.a cali, so the closest you are, the better.

When I did my 4th gen retrofit, It took out the reflector and then made a plate out of sheetmetal and then mounted the projector to that and then the plate screwed into the stock adjustment screws. If you dont want to do that then you will have to cut the reflector and then cut the mounting holes.
