i just got new front and rear strut bars for my accord but i cant find out where to mount the rear bar. does anyone know? or if its a lower tie bar i cant tell

you cannot install a rear upper strut bar on 98-02 accord coupe(not 100% sure about the sedan but i am guessing it;s the same thing) without taking out or putting down the back seat.

The location of the strut tower is just a tad lower than your rear speaker, if you wish to install it, you'll loose the backseat.

if you can't tell the difference between a struct and a lower tie bar...God help us on this..

one is about twice as long as the other(read:strut=longer)

 

i dont mind putting down the back seat but i cant locate the holes. heres what it looks like . its sedan also.

Thats a lower tie bar man. It goes on the undercarriage of the car.
