Default projector headlight questions

This is my first post and i would like to say hello to everyone. I am considering buying the one piece black housing projector headlamps with halo's on ebay and I wondering if anyone has had and experience with them? Are there any other one piece projectors that don't cost an arm and a leg other the ones on ebay?
Thanx,

I've heard from various people on here they have horrible light output and the quality is subpar. I say stick with the stock units or get the JDM Stanley headlights ( I think that's what they are called).

Thanks for saving me some time and money. Are the TYC headlights pretty good quality? My wife has some TYC taillights on her Ford Ranger and I have been inpressed with those. I was actually thinking about TYC tails for my Accord.

I have jdm one piece black projectors on my accord the they look sick!! take from some one who has them. If your car is black it's going to give it a real stealthy look, but if order them think about black bumper lenses as well. Mine don't leak what so ever so I say go for it...

you know, for the same price, you could retrofit your own projectos WITH HID's that have great light output...check out hidforums.com for more info...all it takes is some simple craftsmanship...you can make them black housing if you want to...

Tyc's are the only manufacturer that I believe bothers with DOT certification, They're really proud of that too; they give you a business sized card stateing DOT compliance.
All the others I've researched are marked "Off Road Use Only". In effect, show only, no go. ...and the sales dept at several Web Vendors admitted (when pressured) they were for "show" (except the TYC units).

http://www.hidplanet.com sells HID kits. Or you can join their forum and get used OEM parts from the members. Either way, an HID retrofit would be sick...I'm in the process of getting parts together to do one for a Civic. Denji projector housings with S2k projectors....SWEET....

The one piece headlight with halos really look good.... (..at least... that's what I think...)...
I got them for a little over 100. The regular beam is slighty pointing down... and I don't know how to fix that yet.... overall.... they are good.... ....if you want them... get them.... just remember that when installing.... ...you MUST remove your front bumper to install and remove the old ones out....
