Anyone know wtf this is, I heard some guys talking about it on the RSX forum, I hear its for the Bseries engine

Anyway is there any benifit to buying an emanage for a NA 98LS with bolt ons? I plan on turbo if I keep it but Im Having second thoughts due to the fact that I cant Tweak with My ECU.

I heard the Hondata is benifiting the VTEC motors only?

 

emanage is junk stay away from that thing, and no it dosen't just benefit vtec motors, it will work well with anymotor that is honda of course, it allows u to tune the car a lot more precise then the emange, emange is a piggy back computer and is a POS u will get codes left and right my buddy had it on his turbo gsr. I personally am running a p28 ecu on my turbo gsr, chipped and tunned with crome pro and it works great!

 

i'm new to the ecu stuff. so excuse my ignorance please. the p28 is that a obd2 ecu?

 

no that is an obd1 ecu, u can't chip an obd2 ecu. the only ecu that i know of that works with obd2 is the aem ems, all others u have to revert back to obd1. Cause obd2 learns around what u program, and it is not suitable for chipping.

 

so if Im planning on going Turbo but Im NA currently what is a ECU that I can use that will allow me to tune NA then Change it later and Be Tunable to the max with the turbo?

Im 98LS I can get an obd2 to obd1 harness so Im not worried about that
