Is it possible to install an Autometer shift light into that whole in right below the cluster to the right of the steering wheel? If it is possible, how hard is it?

you could. It woudl be easy. But do you have the pill type shift light or is it from a monster tach coupling.

 

You also need to see it!!

What good is a shift light you have to look down to see!!!!!?????

 

Youll see it in that location. Although you might go blind with it in that location especially if it is aimed towards your eyes.

 

It might fit, but this is how I installed mine. Because of the camera lens, it makes the light look huge, but really it's the same size as Autometer. It's actually a Proform Tach, it doesn't take pills but has an adjustable **** behind it (3k-14k rpms).


It looks really bright like it's gonna blind you, but obviously you're not going to look at the light when you're concentrating on the road.

how the hell can you drive with that lighting you up?

 

Seems rather... big? Are you blind? A like .75" light out of the corner of my eye would be all that I'd need. That thing would blind you on a course.
