source of transmission bearings other than the dealer, '94 civic VX. Also are failed bearings common in these transmissions?

 

you could always get a used transmission and it would be alot easier to fix than the bearing.....and yes failed bearings are in almost all honda transmissions

 

yes, it would be easier to just replace with a used trans, but I want the VX gear ratios for economy and havent found one with low miles. Do you know of other models have the same or similar ratios that would work in my car '94 civic VX?

 

What bearing do you need? Most aftermarket parts suppliers will carry them. What makes you think you have a bearing that has failed?
