removing door key cylinders???
I have searched and found you have to pry off this ring off the back of the cylinder for it to come loose...Any other insight into doing this...I will be attempting this soon...Any other insight/help would be appreciated...

okay...did this and for some reason, it won't come loose...I think everything is seized on there...any other suggestions??

Did you fully remove that clip? I believe it's a C-clip, and you need C-clip pliers to remove them easily. You can do it without them, but it's a pain in the ***.

Is it a small clip right behind the white plastic thing? It's about as small as a finger nail right? I removed it and I still have problems...I tried to remove the handle but I can't get that one rod connected to the handle at the top off...Do I just carefully press this thing off??

I'm guessing its a bronze colored C clip, pop that out (watch where it goes, they fly) Unhook the rod from the lock cylinder and it should push out.

yeah...I took that c-clip off and unhooked the rod from the cylinder but the cylinder did not budge...I will try to take off the whole handle tomorrow and see what happens...any suggestions as to why the cylinder is not coming off??

Ok...figured it out...there was another pin undeneath the cylinder that you have to pull out before it comes loose...it's all set now...thanks for your time and help guys
