Have you seen the street version? I don't recall seeing a big wing. Plus, can't see the motor, can't see the price, nor the big tires. The only thing that I can see a major difference is the hood and CF roof. BTW, Do you know what the word "like" means?

Actually, I posted a few BMW E46 M3 variants in this appearance forum. The one shown above, the M3 GTR Strassen Version, was one of the pics I posted.

I don't know the pricetag for the 330Ci Clubsport but it'll be slightly more expensive than a normal 330Ci I assume.

As for the BMW E46 M3 GTR Street Version, their base price is a whopping $229,000.

"The use of carbon fibre body sections and lightweight materials keep the GTR in & around 3000lbs. This puts the car almost 500lbs lighter than the standard M3. A limited run of road going GTR's are planned to be sold around February 2002. Each one will be hand built by BMW's M division".

Lighter than a standard M3, a v8 engine that puts out 130ish more hp and torque than the 333hp M3.

$229,000 !! strictly for track i bet. i'd totally stick with the regular E46 M3, and with the rest of the money i save, get a RUF RGT!

It's powered by BMW's 3.0 litre 231 bhp straight six engine.

"With the emphasis on sportiness and driving dynamics, the Clubsport model sits neatly between the 330Ci Sport model and the legendary M3 Coupé.

Easily distinguished by its distinctive new rear M spoiler, other exterior additions include sports suspension settings and exclusive 18 inch double spoke alloy wheels. Acoustics have also undergone change 20 kgs of insulation material has been removed to increase engine sound.

The interior reflects the sporty character of the exterior. Leather/alcantara sports seats, shortened M gear lever, door sill with ‘Clubsport’ model designation and special silver aluminium cubed interior trim are fitted as standard and create a sense of driving precision."

To sum it up, an E46 M3-wannabe if you will.

nice nice.. but quite a waste of money in my opinion.
i'd rather spend only a fraction of that money and be driving one of these..
more power than an M-Power, and they sound more scary too

BMW E36 320i Coupe with Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine tuned to about 500HP:

BMW E36 325i with Toyota 1JZ-GTE engine and a single-turbo conversion with a big turbo (don't know how much power this one pushes, but I see it at the street races a lot):

Actually, the M3 GT-R's can be legallized for US streets. For the very exotic car buyer.

I think the GT-R has the meanest front end I have ever seen, on any car. The head lights look like they're trying to burn a hole in you and the bumper looks like it has fangs. I know I would be scared!

This I believe is the E43 M3 CSL. The "CSL" has carbon fiber front facia, hood, and the entire roof is carbon fiber. The CSL is the "lightweight" version of the E46 M3 SMG. I do not know if the are even going to bring the CSL to the states.
Sorry, you're wrong. That pic is in fact a BMW E46 M3 GTR Street Version. The CSL looks like this:

These are photographs of the CSL concept. Hope that cleared things up.
