B18 transmission swap... ?

When swapping from an automatic transmission to a standard, do I need to change the ECU and the Harness or is that not neccessary? Thankyou for your help.

ECU yes, harness no.

only the ecu needs to be changed..everything else should befine.

I heard some auto > tranny swap you could use the auto ECU and get no Check Engine Light. But in my case I had to change the ECU.

Is there a TCU that needs to be changed as well?

no...you'lll now be the TCU

....just an ecu change will make it work...make sure you have the correct mounts...some autos move the main tranny mount...and manuals have it a lil offset in comparision
