guage fucked up

Default guage fucked up

I have tryed to put some si indiglo gauges on my 1990 crx si and i didnt like them so i put my originals back on and now all my gauges are f***ed up. i need some help on trying to reset them. I have tryed to turn on the gauges and setting the gauges where they should be.. HELP!!!!!

if you pulled off the needles...then you are f'ed.

you really should just buy a cluster. that guys is selling his for a reasonable price.

I'm just curious, but how would just taking the needles off affect the cluster?

ive found lifting the needle up a bit, instead of trying to push them all the way down the stem helps.

you shouldn't have removed the needles.... i assume your talking about those ricey indiglo guages that slip over your original gauges. well all you really can do is with the car off set the coolant temp needle just below the line for the C and fill up your tank, put the gas gauge needle at full. just set the tach and speedo needles at zero while your car is not running.... good luck and if all else fails, buy a new cluster.

hey thanks guys for all info, i have tryied to put needles on but it seems if you take the needles off you are pretty much screwed, well if anyone else has any more info please post and again thanks to all who posted
