Default 92-95 hatchback back wheel well rust

hey everyone i am new to the forums and recently just began the art of fixing up my 95 civic hatch.

under both back wheel well's rust has begun forming agian " my car has been painted white agian after its stock white , by the owner i bought it from) would anyone have a common time line of how long it would take the fender to begin rusting agian if i was going to have it grinded and repainted? or is it just not worth it to have this done.

thanks for any input
Ryan

unless you cut out all of the rust infested metal and patch it, it will come back. when you just grind it down your still leaving rust pits in the metal, and those will continue to rust with the new paint over it. even if you were to sandblast the metal you would still have rust on the inside of the panel you cant get to.

the best thing you could have done is to have new quarters put on by a reputable shop.
