C's Shifter?
can anyone post me a picture of a c's shifter I have a chane to buy one but I don't know what it looks like. I've been searching forever and can't find a picture.
thanks
thanks
C's makes more than one shifter.
I'm thinking the one you're asking about is about as high up as my Fastline Performance shifter, except the C's is more adjustable, having a pivot point at the bottom but no way to swivel it closer to or farther away (like the Fastline).
The part of the shifter inside the car is also flat metal, not round, and it has adjusting holes in it.
That's at least what the most famous of the old C's shifters looks like. It's the one that was discontinued after nobody was buying it.
And now, of course, everybody wants it.
I searched around for pictures, but all I can find now is the more conventional shifters that C's still makes.

A lot.
Depending on why you wanted the C's, it's possible that the Fastline Performance shifter is a good alternative for you?

I hate to keep coming back to the Fastline, but if you're not going to be able to get the C's, or get it at a good price....

Driving Position Shift

Short Stroke Shift (Std. C's)

I've tried both the DPS and the std. C's Short Stroke Shift, and the throws are noticeably shorter on the std. C's.

Do you feel that the proximity and adjustability of the Driving Position shifter make up for that, or would you recommend the regular short shifter?

just curious, do those C's driving position shifter kits come with those shift plates, or were those sold separately?

Someone posted a PDF outline of the shift plate - I traced it on to a sheet of Carbon Fibre and made one.
Only trouble is the huge hole there now...it's easy to drop stuff in there.

That's because your shifting closer to the fulcrum with the standard stick (obviously).

George, shifting with the DPS properly setup is pure sex.
