Default Another DFW Turbo Project

so after RedREx got his done I was inspired to go ahead and take the plunge. my former setup (182whp NA Lsvtec) was recently sold and the journey began. I have been buyin parts here and there for about a month now and heres where I am. this will be an ongoing thread with the progress. My goal in all this is to put together a good tuned setup using used but quality parts. To do as much of it as I can on my own (including the piping) and end up a happy camper with good results. I guess this would be a few notches better than your typical junkyard setup.
the goal (which will DEF be achieved) is 300whp.
This will be on a bone stock B18b.
heres a pic of the ride, along with a pic of all the parts i currently have stashed like that pack rat I am. Im anxious to get this done. but we all know that you cant rush quality.

current parts

ill be going with 2.5" aluminum and it will be NEPTUNED!

ill post regular updates

hey, nice clean rex..... i love it! can you post pics of the back and interrior? I couldnt find a rex for $500 or less in my area, so I got an 88 STD; in which i plan to drop a built, boosted b18. I'm trying to get as much body work done before winter hits (i dont want the rust getting worse).

So your getting a clutch for the civic . your crx is going to be crazy with all the torque from that b18b. its red_crx on here , so your going to build your motor huh. Looks like i'm going to have to get my motor built , soon very soon, lol

Cool I can see many reason why to build the motor. Built motor=More boost lol. Cool well sohc will save you on gas for now. . Sohc's are a dime a dozen if you need a block or engine let me know i got 4 sitten outside my house. Keep us posted i want to see how everything looks and runs. Like my freind says "When the boost begins, The bullshit Ends.

Should be a nice setup. What turbo are you running? You going to get tuned by St00pid? Im from Houston and hes the only guy I know that does Neptune. You might want to check out Crome also. Ive been running it for a while on my dohc turbo setup. I had Huy tran at inline racing do my setup. Great guys might want to hit them up.

I actually have a question about chrome. On my setup were running an Fmu. Which i know is not the best fuel management setup for a turbo. I live in Arizona and if you know who Will tune Chrome in Arizona i would gladly switch over to cHrome and some bigger injectors. Thanks

How fast the LS/VTEC? I 'm swapping a B20 in my 88 now. I'm gonna go CR/VTEC when it's done and maybe turbo later.
