Default I just bought a 93 civic... start problem

Ok, I just bought a 93 civic all JDM souped out and I don't know how to drive manual so my brother was showing me how to drive and I would stall like crazy mad in the parking lot and sometimes I would engage the clutch all the way and start the car but it would start up and then just die. This happen maybe two times out of ten tonight... is this a main relay problem or maybe my timing belt is a little loose? any help appreciated

you don't know how to drive stick. don't blame it on the car.

Complete sentences and periods are your friend. Use them and people might understand what the hell your asking.

poptik its adam bro, the main relay is going bad i mean it still works but if you stop and go alot it might not work all the time. bot for the most part it should work under regular driving conditions. so to sum it all up the main relay is the source.....

Had the same problem once, and found out it's not a relay but it was a ignition switch. And that would cause the car to shut down, because the plastic wears down and won't stay in the on postion. So check on that..it isn't that hard hope that helps

the guy at the shop told me it had to do something with the p28 chipped..... since its a racing chip if u turn it on and off alot, it resets and u have to wait like 30 seconds.. no idea what he meant.
