Well im switching from my normal steel braided aeroquip lines to the Nomex Covered Startlite lines, my question is will i be able to use my normal fittings or will i have to buy different ones that would be compatable to the start line lines?

 

What are your "normal" fittings? socketless? We use the Aeroquip reusable fittings with no problems.

 

Ok Good. LOL nah theyre not socketless,you only use those with their different type of hose that goes with that.

 

Out of curiousity how hard also are these start lite lines to get into the fittings as compared to the SS braided lines? I have the SS ones right now, and personally they are a pain in the *** to get it right the first time, without it the weave spreading. Is this the same with the start lite lines or is it easier? Thanks guys

 

I use electrical tape wrapped real tight and make my cut right in the middle of it, regardless of what type of hose it is.
