Default clutch all the way in when shifting?

yea i got a exedy stage 1 with resurface flywheel ever since i put it in the shifting hasnt been smooth(same with before actually) but today i scooched my seat back, so i was only steppin in the clutch half way when shifting. i noticed it was a lot smoother than if i stepped in all the way to the floor. maybe its just in my head. anyone?

nah... i shift gears just like take off real smooth unless im redlining then sometimes i drop clutc too fast or too late.. but yea is there a "real" way to shift gears? is the clutch pedal suppose to be step all the way down or what? cuz i just realize my crx was coo it was cable, and my miata is like this and it was hydro.. so maybe thats the difference?
