tranny leak

Default tranny leak

my tranny is leaking oil out of where the axle goes in. whats the seal called and is it hard to fix?

its actually the axle seal.
pull the axle. pry the old one out. and tap the new one in.

its a rubber seal right? i went to kragen and they pulled out some metal thing.

the thing they pulled out at kragen was more than likely the axle c clamp that locks the axle in place....
