Default Flowmaster vs. Greddy exhaust 98 civic

For my 98 civic exterior and interior?

Which sounds better and also which provides more hp?

sounds is based on what you think sound good. it could sound good to you, but like **** to everyone else.

hp is relative to what else you have done. it could gain you hp but cause others to loose it.

They both sound good. Personally I prefer greddy. I have a Greddy sp2 on my ef right now and I had a greddy sp2 on my eg but I took it off to replace it with a custom 3" exhaust since im swapping in a ls/vtec turbo. Not to mention if you want your car to be truly JDM it makes more sense to buy Greddy since Flowmaster is American.

not everyone wants to be a JDM *****.

I have Flowmaster on my Ex and its sounds great. I have sound clips but not on this computer.

Its nice and deep, at idle/part throttle you can barely hear it, hardly noticeable drone @ cruise (radio on but not loud), at WOT everyone knows you've got it. (then shift out and you sound like traffic)

It does add hp. I saw a video clip of a dc2 with a b18c1 and it had a gain of 8 hp. It sounded nice too. It was a flowmaster 40 series muffler w/ custom piping. It wasnt high pitched, it had a nice deep agressive tone without any ricey farting noises. I just cant remember where I found the video clip b/c I saw it so long ago. If I happen to come across it again i'll post it so you can hear how it sounds.

u have to think about torque too. you add a almost no back pressure exhaust, you'll gain horse, but you'll losse torque. it's all on what you prefer. Hard to say whats the best unless anyones had dyno time with a bunch of exhaust systems and the same set up as u.

Magnaflows sound nice too I would buy one myself. I was gonna goto UTI and take hot rod u but I ended up going to ATC. Its a well known auto school in Pennsylvania. But most aftermarket exhaust systems I dont like b/c theyre too noisy and alot of them sound like your car is being chased by a swarm of hornets.
I'm gonna stick to my greddy exhausts, theyre not noisy or ricey.
