What wiring harness should i use that would be the easiest. I have 2 99-00 harness both auto and i cant get them to work. I also have a obd2 p2t ecu and a obd1 p30 that came with the motor. What would be the best way to have the engine wired up. I have the motor in and everything ready to go but the harness and ecu.

 

You should use the 96 wire harness that comes with your car. Just use your stock computer to run the car until you get a obd2 to obd1 converter harness. Do a search because there is a how to on ek swaps..

 

the car was a shell i am rebuilding the whole thing. so i should get a stock 96 ex harness and run the p30?

 

use a 96-98 ex wire harness and get an obd2a-obd1 conversion harness and use p30 or find a 96-98 obd2a delsol p30 ecu.
