Default Where do you drop it at?

Hey guys, i was just wondering where all your peoples sweet spots are. I usaully drop it at around 5-6, right near vtec. otherwise it bogs, but if i drop it at 5-6, and i hold it wot, it revs to about 7600 till it hooks up then i shift at 8100. I was wondering if i should feather the throttle after i drop it so i hook up sooner? like stock sunflowers(fires) take me off the line, like all of them(but i take em after that lol). i know its all driver but just some input would be nice. I have a mostly stock gsr with a header(4-2-1). Any tricks you guys have?
