How to fix sticking Ebrake?
I have rear discs on my crx. The ebrake cable is sticking on the driver side rear. I am 100% positive without a doubt that it is the cable and not the caliper/rotor/pad.
How do i go about fixing this? Do I need a new cable? What would cause it to stick?
It takes about 20minutes of sitting once I disengage the ebrake in the car for it to release on the wheel.....

make sure the spring on the caliper is still good(ive been bitten by that one once) and other than that i would say you need a new cable.
i see you live in NY, and the most likely cause is corrosion, with all the salt in the winter time. good luck

i had a problem like that once it was the caliper, just remove the cable from the caliper and see if you can push/pull it freely if its binding get a new cable if not its prob the caliper
rust is not your friend. most cars over 15 years old the e-brake hasn't been touched in 5-7 years (nobody ever uses them) so you learn that if you do use the e-brake the rear brakes will not disengage. lucky for you that only one side is sticking. change it
