Who's good with suspension?
I've got a 95 GSR and my suspension is still factory at 120k... I'm really not too familiar with what to look for when upgrading. I've heard good things about Tien, and there's a lot of advertising for Eibach. I dont want my car dropped more then 1" because I have a body kit in it and our roads here suck. What're some big differences in springs, shocks, coilovers?
Thanks and sorry I wasn't finding what I was looking for with the search

Tein, Eibach, RS*R, Tanabe, Espelir, and there are quite a few others that make good suspension products. It's all about the amount of money you want to spend.
Springs and shocks are probably the cheapest way to go. A decent spring kit can give you a drop anywhere from 1"-3", and up your spring rate by a decent amount. The only flaw to this is controlability. You cannot easily change your suspension settings with this setup.
Coilovers are the most expensive choice, however they are also the most controllable and the most effective for improved performance. Tein makes a thing called EDFC ( electronic dampening force controller), which allows you to adjust dampening force with the touch of a button. There are also many different varieties of coilovers. Many are made for specific uses, however there are also many that are made for all around use.
It's all about what you need, what you need it for, and how much money you are looking to spend.

I think I am looking to stiffen up the suspension and hopefully improve corning a little bit. I pretty much think it's just time to replace the factory suspension and upgrade and I'm not quite sure what types of setups to look for. I'm not looking to spend too much, but I definately don't want a cheap product that isn't going to perform well. I always opt for a product that is a little more expensive but much better quality.

to do what you just mentioned, a couple areas have to be looked at...not just the spring and shock.
also, looks at reinforcing the chasis byway of thicker swaybars and rear tower bar, tie bar, new stiffer bushings (the oem rubber bushings tend to wear over time, making for more flex) in the various places like the trailing arms, etc...
that said, if you don't want to lower height by more than 1", there is really affordable and effective way to go about this:
set of ITR springs ($100 used)
fresh oem shocks or a set of tokico shocks ($220 to $320 new) (if you want to drop some money, you can't go wrong with a set of Konis $450)
replace any worn busings ($60 to $200 for a whole kit)
swap in the rear itr swaybar with a bsq reinforcement kit ($100 to $130 new or used)
rear strut tower bar that doesn't have adjustability, like the passwordjdm bar ($80 used, $140 new)
your height won't be much lower, but your handling will be much improved.

Here's the new Ground Control setup: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1355904
They've changed the top hats to provide for full shock travel w/ lowered cars so you're not blowing the shocks that way, and they provide spring rate choices within the full range advisable for OEM Koni Yellow.

i have neuspeed race springs and dropzone shocks and believe it or not they perform pretty well together. Especially for the price.

What do you plan on doing with it? If you autocross alot, you may want a car that rotates better... but which can be scary if you're not used to it...
Actually, go autocross, then change your suspension so you know what did what. People can tell you one thing or another, but unless you witness it for yourself, you won't know what you like. My car doesn't rotate as well as my buddy's, but on the flipside I have an easier time recovering from oversteer than he does...

hehe, my integra rotates better than my nissan . . . but the nissan can get the @$$ out a lot more than the teg . . . best suspension mod for any car, especially FWD cars? LSD baby! i put an ATB diff from a CTR into my LS and whoa! we've got throttle oversteer and off-throttle oversteer in a FWD car! not exactly a stock suspenion on that car, but the ATB diff probably makes as big a difference as everything else combined.

1. as far as shocks itself - Koni's are the best
2. as far as dropping - go with Eibach Pro - i believe it's around 1" drop. That's what I have
3. as far as coilovers - Ground control is good and has the best fittings for Koni's
4. as far as a full coilover suspension - Tein is very good. Maybe the best (not too sure about full coilver suspensions but I know I'm getting the Tein Flex for my next Project Teg)
Hope this helps - or you can go Flintstones style

1 as far as STRUTS: anything adjustable will be plenty good. most name brands come with lifetime warranty if you don't lower more than 1.5"
2 almost all eiback pro-kit and sports lower more than 1.5". i plan on RS*R Race springs, which lower just under 1.5".
3 right on. most coilover conversions suck, but ground control is well-liked.
4 full coilovers - megan racing is making a name for themself nowadays, and $800 is a steal. if you can't stomach bargain parts, Tein is good but pricey, Apex Integration is a bit cheaper, JIC is also cheaper but known to have a problem blowing dampers, other exist that are equally as good as Tein. Tein, however, does offer EDFC for its products, which is a plus when you only have an hour or two of track time to set up your car before a race. seriously if i had money i'd probably buy Tein Flex also but going with KYB AGX plus RS*R springs gives me dampers with a lifetime warranty, which makes a big difference to me.

actually, the world still sucks IMO. but it's made better by the rush of my dinky little turbo spinning up to full boost around 3300rpm, and the fact that not only does the world suck a lot, but some women do, too
