Default Autoweek article: K20 CRX in 2007

I know, I know, we've all heard it before but here it is.

http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=102867

I wonder what it'd look like. Maybe I'll have a steady job by then so I can afford a new car.

not horribly excited.

in order for it to be worth it, it'll have to weigh the same as the 88-91s do, as well as look the same. I cant see honda benefiting from changing the design, and we all know they're going to.

i really cant see it doing well. i think its just going to be a huge let down

I just hope they keep the stunted rear-end look that is so damn sexy. Can't remember exactly what it's called... named after some guy.

The CRX rumor seems to resurface every time a new Civic generation is released . . .

Do you understand how car companies work? Honda already changed the design, and they're not going to break out some cobweb-having ancient *** bodywork to start building a cult car again. Honda = innovation, thinking that they should build their old stuff is just silly. Just think, if the EF CRX was this good, what will the next one be like? You wouldn't buy a brand new CRX knowing it would have hatch rattles, water leaks, a bad ignitor, a climate control that may as well be made out of glass...

blah, I find it impossible to sit in the back of a JDM crx. It should have been a 2 seater over there as well.

now if they make it a 4 seater in USA, they better have some Ankle room.

my point exactly. what i said was the new CRX will have nothing on the 88-91s, and they can never rebuild that "magic."

actually, yes i would. i'd rather buy a 91 CRX that has completely holy rockers, worn out quarters, and spits out more blue smoke from the tail pipe then the next one i pull up to, and fix that, then buy a k20 rex that weighs 2500-3000 lbs and looks like complete ***.

in my opinion, they wont ever rebuild or top the 88-91s, and i dont care what it looks like.

just my .02

i think this is just more b/s. i mean, how long have people been rumoring about another crx??? if Honda decides to redo it then i guess that's okay, but there is no way i would give up my ef for the "new and improved" line of civics they are producing.

my climate control is perfect, my car doesn't leak, the hatch doesn't rattle, and my ignitor is fine. it's called taking care of your car. there aren't too many 14-17 year old cars that are in the same condition as when they rolled off the showroom floor. so it's kinda hard to point fingers at some of the flaws on the crx when there are a lot of older cars that naturally have problems that develop over time.
