holy ****.....you should get the breaker bar that has the socket connector as a big body that slides up and down the pole, its like a 3/4inch diameter metal bar with the connector that can move up and down on it...

practically unbreakable....

^ what he said. Not prying up that indentation will make it much harder to remove.

I hate those ******* things. I broke two craftsman breaker bars trying to get one off. I took a die grinder to it, and beat the **** out of it. Then it came off with my 600ft-lb impact gun.

i must agree. those suck. i actually broke the socket... cracked right down the side. ended up getting it off with an impact gun. seriously just sit there with an impact gun for 20min it's bound to come off... eventually

can someone please help me, so far ive used most breaker bars except for a snapon brand one, but theyve all snapped, ive sprayed the bolt numerous times for liek 10 minutes straight and still no luck, i could get a 50 psi air compresser with an impact gun, does it matter that the tank is 50 psi? will it give out at least 180 pounds of torque if i have a good gun? someone please help me because ive been sitting here for almost a week breaking tools...and i cant get my car to a shop because it does not drive right now

yeh okay, i was told craftsman was good, so i go ahead and get all their **** for this, and its all broken, the craftsman 18 inch breaker bar broke from one push down on it, snapped right at the part where it connects to the socket....bullshit...so will this 50psi tank work with a good 300torque gun?

Your souposed to be turning it in the left direction. JK

put a breaker bar onit at the 3 oclock direction so that your actually lifting on the bar and not pushing down. You can lift more than you can push down. You can only push down your weight. I have never had an axle nut I could get off this way with a autozone special breaker bar you know the 15.00 dollar one.
