Default I'm going to wax my car today..a few Q's

what up,

I'm gonna wax my car today. I wanted to know if it was alright for me to apply wax to my mirrors, mouldings, and side skirts. The reason i ask is becuase i had all of that stuff painted to match the color or my car. Would it harm them because there plastic?

i would suggest to wax your car only!! keep off plastic, rubber, windows, mirrors etc. and stay outta direct sun light!! *read the back of the cereal box*

you can wax everything that has paint. if you get it on the vinyl or rubber parts of your car, be sure to wipe it off, if not it'll stay on there.

that doesn't matter. your bumpers are plastic, even some Saturn's (for example) body panels are plastic.

Well, you say that you got them painted. I think that it's fine to wax paint as long as the paint shop sanded the plastic a bit to help the paint stick. Also, if the paint is fresh like less than a month, don't wax it. Just think, and use common sense. Good luck!
