reverting back to stock exhaust?
i bought my car (2000 Si) with a stock exhaust, except the previous owner added:

which at first was kinda neat, it actually doesnt sound too bad under acceleration or deceleration. but for cruising speed its just a din. not to mention loud as hell, which is horrible because i can barely hold a conversation due to my crappy hearing (i have a hard time distinguishing between foreground/background noises).
anyway as you can see, they just hacked the exhaust and threw on a new muffler. i want to go back to bone stock OEM. what is my best (actually, cheapest would be good) option? i could go aftermarket if i could get a cheap install and of course a very quiet (next to stock) sound.

so its cool to just hack off what's there and stick a new one on?
i was basically just wondering if that's fine, that's all, to keep hacking up my exhaust
