Check Engine.
On my 90 accord LX coupe last night my check engine light went on. No big deal I can just go home and use my repair manual to find where I can use a paper clip and check the code right? Wrong. I have a good ideq where it is all at. I have pulled back the carpet in the floor and found the whole ecu. I can't find the little jumper wire though. Is it under the metal plate covering the whole mess up? Or is it just off to the side tucked under the edge? Any help would be appriciated.
I've been busting my butt trying to find it but I still can't. There is a big metal plate covering the main unit. Up above it? There is nothing more than where it looks that the dash is connected to the firewall. Is it plugged into something? Tucked behind something? I'm racking my brain tring to figure this out.

The 1990 Accord doesn't have a service check connector, they came with an led in the ecu. Peel back the carpet, turn on the key and count the blinks.

Nope, should be a hole in it to look through.

Well, if they do I never had a need to look for it. I always read the blinks off the led on the ecu on 1990 models. The led disappeared on the 1991 model so you have to use the service check connector.
