What size are they? or Where can I get them? I rather not have my gears or belt slip on me?

All the new AEM gears come with upgraded bolts and design than the first gen that came out, which were notorious for stripping and slipping. If you bought new AEM gears within the last couple of months, they should be already be different and better than the old ones.

Thanks Digital-R. Are you saying, that I can purchase these bolts from AEM. I have the first AEM cam gears which utilizes the allen key.

 

good luck trying to get them from AEM... my room mate has been calling about them for the last week and everytime they dont have an answer for him...

The new bolts have suck-**** quality too. I'd rather go get a set of high automotive quality bolts from the hardware store - then buy some loctite to use when you put them in!

aem sent me the new ones free- cause my old ones slipped while driving my gears were ~2 years old!

note: make sure you torque them too....jmho - I'll be buying new gears some day so I can quit worrying about the crappy aem junk!
